Justis Tenpenny is an LGBTQ advocate who has served the Northeastern Wisconsin queer community for over 9 years. He has developed and led the 9-Week LGBTQ Equity Challenge which was taken by individuals in 12 different states, co-led the creation of Green Bay's first outdoor LGBTQ Mural, and has diligently assisted with the N.E.W. LGBTQ Historical Archives.

Justis has been involved with N.E.W. Pride (formerly Pride Alive) for nine years, including more than five years as Communications Director. He is also a founding member of the Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity, a non-profit organization focused on making a positive impact in the lives of transgender and gender-diverse individuals. .

Justis joined the Advisory Panel of the Wisconsin LGBTQ History Project in November 2023.
