'Ty' King came out at age 14 and became a DJ at age 17. He's been involved with multiple LGBTQ community organizations over the years, including Gay People's Union, Black & White Men Together, and SSBL. Over the years, Ty has DJ'd in Milwaukee, Madison, and abroad. He looks forward to sharing a lifetime of memories with the History Project.

Tyrone joined the Advisory Panel of the Wisconsin LGBTQ History Project in November 2023.
