From DairylandDrag website, circa 2004:

Alexis Winter is truly one of the up and coming Milwaukee legends. Miss Winter has been active in a variety of causes and participates in whatever venue she will not only have fun at but will also make a difference somewhere in the community.

A Class Act, Alexis was most recently Miss Continental Milwaukee for 2003. Her sights set clearly on capturing the State Title, they were side-lined momentarily when she broke her ankle during rehearsal. Rather than being a spectator at the State competition, she marched out in Helen Lawson style onto the stage on crutches to make her presence and support known.

Miss Winter is currently representing the USofA system as Miss Lakeshore Wisconsin USofA held in Sheboygan at the Blue Light club. It was here that her mix of 'Hindi Sad-Diamonds' from Moulin Rouge captured the title from a tough list of competition.

Alexis designs and constructs all her own costumes and wonderful clothes - a skill envied by the most ardent performers in our area. It is not uncommon for her to 'whip together' some great outfit the day of a performance.
