According to their web site (in 2018), PFLAG of Sturgeon Bay – Door County is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization and an official chapter of PFLAG national since 1997.
Vision: 'PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.'
Mission: 'Our mission is to build on a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ people and allies who support one another and to educate ourselves and our communities to speak up as advocates until all hearts and minds respect, value and affirm LGBTQ people.'
Monthly Meetings in Sturgeon Bay are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month, at 5 p.m. at Hope Church, 12th & Michigan in Sturgeon Bay. Meetings for Sister Bay area are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month (September through May) at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship located at 10341 Water St.(Hwy 42) between Ephraim and Sister Bay just south of the Shops of the Green Gables.
Every Saturday from July to October, they have an information and social gathering booth at the Sturgeon Bay Farmer’s Market (Michigan St & 4th Ave.)

Historically, according to their web site in 2007, PFLAG Door County served LGBT community with an information table at the Sturgeon Bay Farmers' Market, Saturday mornings from late June through October (their second year at the downtown venue); carried their PFLAG Door County banner in both the Baileys Harbor and Egg Harbor Fourth of July parades; celebrated their 10th anniversary with the annual potluck picnic at Sunset Park, bringing some 30 supporters together on a pleasant July afternoon; raised more than $700.00 for AIDS Walk Wisconsin through a PFLAG Door County team, captained by friend and leader Sandy Brown; and incorporated as a 501-C-3 non-profit organization and held their first annual business meeting. As of early 2008, the group held meetings at 5 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month at Hope Church, 12th and Michigan, Sturgeon Bay.
